(Danielle) Ergood, and Tara D. (Jack) Butz. Foster was an adoring grandfather to his eight grandchildren, Devyn, Blair, Shane, Joseph, Douglass Jr, Julia, Tyler, and Brooke. He will also be missed by his brother R. Laurence (Barbara) Ergood and numerous nieces and nephews, who loved their Uncle Fos. Lastly, he will be missed by his sister-in-law, Judith (Keith) Everett, many cousins, and dear friends.

Robert Peyton Sheffield, 76, of McKinney, Texas passed away on January 18, 2023. Robert was born on January 5, 1947 in Jasper, Texas. He grew up on his family farm in Spurger. After he graduated Valedictorian from Spurger High School in 1964, Robert went on to study Mathematics and Education at Lamar University. He met his wife, Frances, during his Senior year, where they quickly married after nine months of courtship. Robert served 7 years in the Texas National Guard Reserves. His first job was teaching math at Bridge City Middle School. He later started his own trucking company, Shefco, before settling into a successful and rewarding, 30-year career in Operations Management for Univar USA. Robert received various promotions which moved his family to areas of southern Louisiana, Plano, Houston, Atlanta, and St. Louis. He retired in 2008 in Plano, Texas. Robert enjoyed many hobbies over the years including cooking, grilling, storytelling, problem-solving, home improvement projects and most recently cultivating and growing bonsai. He enjoyed giving his granddaughter math transactions to do in her head. He was a member of many social groups and loved spending time with family and friends. Gifted in listening and understanding, Robert was a mentor to many during and after his professional career. He also served as a Stephen Minister Leader for many years and was very active in his Catholic faith. Robert was predeceased in death by his father Jesse Craig Sheffield, mother Hazel Sheffield and siblings David and Jack Sheffield. He is survived by his wife of 54 years Frances Sheffield of McKinney, Texas, son Brett (Angie) Sheffield and granddaughter Maggie of Frisco, Texas, daughter Belinda (Bryan) Randall of Alpharetta, Georgia, mother-in-law, Margaret Solito, and many loved nieces, nephews, and cousins. Joseph Chi Wong passed away on December 23, 2022 in McKinney, Texas at the age of 52. He was born in Hong Kong on January 11, 1970. Joseph graduated from Lake Highlands High School in 1988. He married Cara Annette Shaw on January 3, 2015 in Plano, Texas. Joseph had a passion for grilling and smoking meat- he was the grill master. He was an expert in IT, and he loved technology. Joseph was an entrepreneur by trade and loved working for himself. He also loved using his talents to help non-profit organizations. Joseph was a kind, patient, humble, Christian man who loved the Lord. He adored his wife, Cara and his son, Alexander, and loved his dogs, Lexi, Dolly Pop, and Bunni.
